The decree containing new rules for highly qualified foreign workers who are recipients of the ‘EU Blue Card’ has been published. This decree, in force since 17 November, expands the number of workers who can come to Italy through this channel. It also provides for less stringent requirements on the duration of the employment contract and remuneration, some procedural simplifications, further facilitations for family reunification, and the labour mobility of holders of blue cards issued by other EU States.
